Due to the ever changing regulatory landscape surrounding CBD, there has recently been a change to the payment methods we are able to take. While the federal legalization of industrial hemp was passed in 2018, some credit card companies and banks are still hesitant to work with hemp-derived CBD companies.
Even after federal hemp reforms last year, many CBD-focused companies throughout the U.S. (including Nature’s Ultra) still have issues acquiring basic financial services, such credit card processing. The problem seems to be less with federal policies, and more with financial institutions unwilling to serve the industry.
What Payment Methods Does Nature’s Ultra Take
We have been working diligently with American Express to accept their cards as a form of payment for Nature’s Ultra orders. Unfortunately, American Express has denied our repeated requests and appeals to grant us a merchant account to be able to do so. We will continue to work with them and hope that over time they will be allow us to accept their cards for legal CBD sales. In the meantime, we are able to accept Discover, Visa, and Mastercard.
We understand that there might be some inconvenience with this, but rest assured that we are working tirelessly to change the way individuals and organizations see CBD. Our commitment is to providing you with the highest quality CBD out there and making the process of getting that CBD more convenient.
